Wyomingisbestknownformountainranges,cowboysandopenroads,but40yearsagoitwasthefirststateevertorecognizelimitedliabilitycompanies(LLCs).Today,Wyomingisbuildingonthisfoundationtobecomeoneofthemostprogressiveandfriendlyhomesforcryptoandblockchaincompaniesintheworld.

Thebi-partisanWyomingBlockchainTaskForce,whichischarteredbythestatelegislature,isresponsiblefordraftingproposedlegislationforthestate.Inthe2018/2019legislativesessions,thestatepassed13crypto-friendlylawsdesignedtomakeWyomingthedestinationforcryptocompaniesandentrepreneurs.Thispastweek(September19-22),thestatehosteditssecondannualWyoHackathonattheUniversityofWyoming.Krakenwastheheadlinesponsorforthisyear’sevent,andcouldn’tbemoreproudtobeabletosupportthisandallofthegreatinitiativescomingoutofTheEqualityState.
